City Youth Theater is a not-for-profit theater organization dedicated to promoting the theatrical development of all participants. Participants are given a wide range of opportunities to cultivate and enhance their talents in front of an audience and behind the scenes. This is accomplished in an encouraging, stimulating, and supportive environment culminating in a theatrical production.
 

City Youth Theater (CYT) is a dynamic theater program dedicated to nurturing the creative talents of high school, elementary, and middle school students in Waterbury, Connecticut. Our mission is to foster artistic collaboration, cultivate a strong work ethic, and provide a platform for students to excel both on and off the stage. Through theater classes, workshops, summer camps, and productions, CYT instills invaluable skills that transcend the stage, preparing our students for success in any endeavor they pursue.
